Anemia Specialist Why Does My Doctor Leave Me On The Boarder Line Of Anemia & Won't Infususe Me With Iron Until I Drop Below

Why does my doctor leave me on the boarder line of anemia & won't infususe me with iron until I drop below - anemia specialist

the "Guidlines", they spend many months of lethargy and malaise.
I've always anemia, because I suffer from ulcerative colitis, and although I spoke to my doctor and specialist in how I perform my opinion, the blood test every month to see my iron levels considered "safe" and I'll give an infusion of iron, to they "keep dangerous", which occurs twice a year. Can I give a course of treatment for about 6-7 infusions, 1 per week. But after a few months back, I feel like shit all the time.
Although I expressed my wish that they gave me an infusion, perhaps 1 per month per month, but let me go to run an open square in front of me, just not to pursue the idea itself Agreement if there is a good solution!
I can not sleep, can not muster the energy to do things that I struggle with all ....... Will it be my destiny, until I die now?
I'm in the NHS in the UK, so alone and can not see another doctor or specialist.

My first thought was for you to see another doctor, but when I read, I saw that you can not do. It is a shame.

She was also anemic. I take a natural supplement as "food Ferro. I see a naturalist, and had my blood work done every 3 months and the food has helped me a lot Ferro.

Good luck to you!

Her hemoglobin level is not sufficient demand for a blood transfusion.

I think I ask my doctor about the problem exactly as you have asked us.

Some doctors try (donation of blood transfusions) that if the symptoms warrant, and it seems that you have these symptoms.

Other doctors treat the "numbers" in this case, your hemoglobin and hematocrit and other parts of the CBC.

However, there is the risk of blood transfusions to be too frequent. Even with modern detection techniques, there is an increased risk of complications during blood transfusion. not only HIV and other microorganisms, but can with too much blood on your system, you have other problems.

How old are you? How is your heart? Do you suffer from hypertension? Do you have a history of reactions to blood transfusions?

Beth, what to do, ask your doctor agrees that its solution is very good, why not, and to put their money where the soil.
